Kullu District, Himachal Pradesh

If you want that mini-Norway feel of meadows and cliffs, Lambri is the right place. On a clear day you can count so many Himalayan peaks from here that you could spend the whole day just counting them.
People usually go here for a two or three day trek, but for us it was a fast hike. We started early, around 7:30 AM. It was a big summer day, so I was relaxed with 12 hours of daylight, but it's a long walk, so we packed light and carried only what was essential for the whole day.
It's a cold start because this part sits around 3100 m. The first 5 km to Serolsar Lake is well marked and easy to walk. Then you reach that beautiful lake, where it's said Budhi Nagin resides, and that a wish made here comes true (it didn't work for me, but that's the saying). They also say not even a leaf stays on the water, the birds grab it and keep the lake clean. There's a temple right beside it.
From the lake a trickier section begins towards Nochi Top. It isn't well marked, and maybe 90% of people turn back at the lake. Ask someone, or just aim for the top of the peak. Stay on the neck of the mountain, the left side is a big cliff and the right side is very dense forest. From Nochi Top you get a fantastic 360° view.
From there the next 500 m are the craziest and only really tricky part of the whole route. You navigate down to the little meadow you can see from the top, but the path goes through dense bushes, feels like an animal trail, and gets scary. Be careful here. When you finally reach Lambri, you get that mini-Norway feel, the mighty Shrikhand Mahadev peak right in front of you and the Tirthan Valley below the cliff.

Lambri Meadows Fast Hike
Refill water at Serolsar. Water is tricky to find after the lake. There's one point near the middle (shown in the video), but it's hard until Lambri, and even at Lambri water is hard to find. Don't rely on it, carry enough.
Bear country. Don't walk silently and don't use earphones, talk loudly so animals aren't surprised. Stick to the main trail, don't wander off-beat.
Don't take it lightly. It's easy underfoot but long. Done in a single day it can get challenging. Signal is patchy, you only get it at some points near Nochi Top and a little at Lambri, so plan accordingly. You can also camp near Serolsar Lake.
From the Tirthan side: Banjar → Jibhi → Jalori Pass. Bus service is minimal, so take your own vehicle or a taxi. The nearest place to stay is Shoja.
From the Shimla/Chandigarh side: Shimla → Narkanda → Anni → Khanag → Jalori Pass, which is easier. Nearest stay is Khanag. Reaching Anni is easy by bus or car; after Anni, stick to the limited bus service or use your own car/taxi.
