This is the Ladakh that takes weeks to truly see, ridden as one continuous high-altitude loop out of Leh. You start with two days of acclimatization, then climb Tanglang La, cross the Morey Plains to Tso Moriri, and ride the long, flat, impossibly beautiful valley to Hanle. From Hanle you tackle Umling La - at 5,883m the highest motorable road on earth - then loop back over Norbu La and ride the Chushul line past Mirpal Tso and Yaya Tso to Pangong, finishing over Chang La back into Leh. Remote, high, and fully self-contained, with a support vehicle, oxygen, and crew the entire way. This is not a sightseeing trip. It is a serious ride through some of the most isolated terrain in the Himalaya.

🎯 Tailored to You

This is a big undertaking, and it can feel overwhelming on paper - that's normal. The whole route is customized to your fitness, experience and skill level. We adjust daily distances, rest days and pace so it works for you, not against you. If the full loop is too much, we tailor it down to a version you can genuinely enjoy. Talk to us and we'll build the right ride together.

⚠️ Permits & Route Changes

These routes cross protected high-altitude border areas (Tso Moriri, Hanle, Umling La, Pangong, Chushul and Nubra) that require permits from government authorities. Access depends entirely on their approval. If any pass or area is closed or denied - for security, weather or administrative reasons - we will alter the route accordingly. A safe, viable ride always comes first.

Getting There & Home

✈️ Arrival

Fly into Leh directly (via Delhi). We meet you in Leh, and the first two days are built-in acclimatization - essential before riding at this altitude. Do not skip them.

🛫 Departure

The loop finishes back in Leh over Chang La. Book your Leh-Delhi flight for the day after the final ride, or add a buffer day. Onward flights are at your own cost and arrangement.

Fitness Level

This is one of the hardest rides we run. You will spend nearly two weeks above 4,000m, cross several 5,000m+ passes, and ride a 170 km valley day. You do not need to race, but you must be able to ride long, consecutive days at altitude. Months of consistent endurance training are expected, not optional. Acclimatization is built in and we monitor everyone closely, but altitude affects all riders - the support vehicle is always there.
